When does small pox vaccination spot stop being contagious?

I'm in the military and about to deploy so I got my small pox vaccination about a month ago and the scab finally fell off today. So now I have a welt that looks like it is still healing. So even though it still looks tender, is it fine to stop wearing a bandage over it since it went through the whole process and the scab is now off? Is it done being contagious?
