Interesting. Not sure it is flea bites as they itch mercilessly. Also they look like, well bites. Also usually similar sizes. So I wonder if you have an allergy to your dog. Yeah I know the dog didn't sleep with you then but did he/she sleep on your bed when you weren't there? A test is to rub your lower forearm all over the dogs fur and see what happens. Welts should appear rather quickly. If this isn't it I think a trip to the allergist is in your future and may be either way.
