5 mg is enough to make you relaxed really, it stays in your blood for hours, shame it did not work longer for you. 10 mg is the max doze in one tablet, so yeh ask him for that. other than therapy there arent really any better drugs to take valium normally works pretty well. there are stronger benzodiaepines to try, but they could make you very sleepy.
